Will there be money at the end of the month? Cash flow and budgets

Free · up to 3 budgets (unlimited on Premium)

Two different questions in one place. Cash flow answers 'will there be money at the end of the month?' and warns before the balance goes negative. Budgets answer 'how much can be spent on this category?' and warn at 80 %.

The forecast

Menu › Cash Flow. The app projects the coming months by adding up what is already recorded, the expenses that repeat, the invoices still to fall due, and the planned events you add by hand — a tax payment known in advance, a deposit expected once.

It warns before the balance turns negative, with the day it would happen and what causes it. Not a report of the past: a warning in time. Authorised overdrafts are taken into account.

Planned events

Something known to be coming, once: add it as an event. Since version 1.5.0 events have a list of their own — edit, delete, or convert one into a document (when the invoice arrives) or into a schedule (when it turns out to repeat).

Budgets

Menu › Budgets+. Pick a category, a subcategory or a project, a weekly or monthly limit, and the app tracks spending against it and warns at 80 %. The Professional button says which side the budget is on, and General | Project whether it belongs to a project — the two are independent, so a project budget can be professional or personal.

Free: up to 3 budgets. Premium: unlimited.
